Fun in a small group during a beginners’ course or an intensive course

Beginners get an easy and safe introduction to this new and fascinating sport and experienced kitesurfers have the opportunity to develop further and to improve their skills that they have already acquired by means of hints & tricks.

All the courses are held in the 2 for 1 system in accordance with the VDWS (German Water Sports Association) standards. This means that two learners always practice with one set of kitesurfing equipment (kite & board).
In this way, one of them practices while the other one helps and protects him or her and vice versa. This guarantees each learner an optimum degree of safety as well as saving time during a quick relaunch (the start of the kite on water) through the assistance of the respective partner, which results in a longer and effective flight time. In addition, you will have more fun by practising with kindred spirits in a small group.
You will get to know the equipment and its handling in detail. The kiting teachers will show you the most elementary techniques and how to apply and extend them and give you helpful advice so that you keep well above the water. A trainer is responsible for a maximum of two couples in order to enable effective learning.

Area : The Baltic Sea peninsula of “Fischland-Darß-Zingst” is located next to Rügen, the largest of the Baltic Sea islands between Rostock and Stralsund.
This is a popular leisure time and holiday region because of its Baltic Sea beaches that extend over kilometres and because of the beautiful countryside of the “Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft” Nationalpark (Western Pomeranian Bodden Landscape National Park).
The Saaler Bodden near Fuhlendorf provides a huge water sports area for surfers and kitesurfers with shallow water to stand in. It is located at Fuhlendorf/Neudorf, 10km to the west of Barth (and 20km from Ribnitz – Damgarten or 30km from Stralsund as well as 50km from Rostock), as you can see on the map.

Accommodation: The holiday flats are furnished in a tasteful and luxurious way. Breakfast, sauna facilities and rental bicycles are available at the nearby holiday park.



Beginners’ courses
Generally, the course takes place spread over two days and comprises 8 hours in all.
The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 3 people per instructor. There is the option to conclude the basic course in the theory and practice of kitesurfing with the internationally acknowledged VDWS licence in kitesurfing.
