Petri Heil – Fishing in the Baltic Sea
Offer SPA 1
On the Mecklenburg Baltic Sea coast
you have the opportunity to do so.
Codfish, triggerfish, plaice, perch, roach, pike-perch, pike, bream as well as salmides and eels, but also salmons and sea trout are found more frequently and are among the most frequently found species of fish in the Baltic Sea.
It is a peculiarity of the Mecklenburg Baltic Sea coast that the coasts of the western Baltic Sea are more saline than those of the eastern Baltic Sea. You can notice this from the fact, for example, that the mud-flat worm, which is popular as a bait, as well as plaice only exist in the western Baltic Sea, whereas they can’t be found in the eastern Baltic Sea any more at all.
Storage as well as preparation of the catch is possible.
